Director of Customer Onboarding

Postscript is redefining marketing for ecommerce companies. By introducing SMS as an entirely new channel for ecommerce stores to engage, retain, and convert their customer base, brands are seeing huge ROI with Postscript. As the Director of Customer Onboarding you will lead our rapidly growing Customer Onboarding team and be responsible for taking the foundation we have built on that team and scaling it. You will partner across Sales, Customer Success and Product in order to execute on your onboarding vision and deliver consistent results (while also creating raving fans of our onboarding process). 

This is a critical leadership role at a product led company that places special emphasis on customer onboarding. We are looking for exceptional operational and leadership skills.

All positions at Postscript are fully remote.

Primary duties

  • Develop and scale a best in class Customer Onboarding Program
  • Successfully hire, coach and grow a group of Onboarding Specialists
  • Work effectively with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to create the right processes and handoffs throughout the onboarding process
  • Lead cross functional initiatives to continuously improve our onboarding processes with the team and in the product
  • Be the loudest voice on the team about how customers are onboarded
  • Maintain an expert level understanding of the Postscript product, along with larger e-commerce & marketing knowledge

What We’ll Love About You

  • 5+ Years managing managers in a high growth customer-facing role 
  • Passion for helping customers and being a teacher 
  • Proactive problem solver who isn’t afraid to break things 
  • Ability to drive a consistent and repeatable experience with Customers
  • Experience in a remote-first role
  • Ability to work across teams including marketing, product, sales, and operations
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience with e-commerce and digital marketing is a plus
