Position Summary

The Director of Digital Product Management is responsible for developing and executing digital product strategies for Munchkin.com that grows the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business through digital marketing programs that drives growth and profitability. The individual in this role is responsible for identifying customer needs and the larger business objectives that our digital platforms endeavor to serve, and exploring new features and functions to drive growth and KPI success. This individual can clearly articulate what success looks like for a digital product, how to manage uncertainty, risks, and prioritization, and rallies a team to turn customer-oriented product vision into reality.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop digital product enhancement and innovation strategies for the DTC team that ensures the organization makes customer-first decisions across business, product, and engineering
  • Define the plans to enhance the conversion of our customer acquisition and engagement through fastidious attention to site data & behavior, success metrics, and customer feedback
  • Optimize existing channels and identify, as well as test, new areas to meet our customers’ needs
  • Responsible for conducting customer research and developing customer/vertical insights to develop the value propositions, messaging, and pricing for digital products and experiences
  • Optimize site performance by running A/B tests on all high traffic pages and page types, including landing pages, category and product pages, and more
  • Leverage all existing channels to drive increased product and content awareness, time on platform and user loyalty and retention
  • Pursue innovation and disruptive opportunities across all digital platform levers and channels
  • Work with cross-functional teams within DTC as well as across Brand, Corporate Communications, Creative, Marketing, and Brand Development to ensure we are maximizing the efficacy of our digital products, experiences, and customer recruitment efforts
  • Relentlessly prioritize our KPIs while ensuring all digital product and content launches have the right consumer engagement strategy, metrics plan, testing hypotheses and utilize the appropriate consumer touch points
  • Define audience segmentation and develop active testing and optimization strategy
  • Provide thought leadership, innovation, and process optimization for ecommerce DTC business
  • Other duties may be assigned

Bring It!

  • 8+ years experience in digital product management, with at least 2 years as a director level with direct management and mentoring experience
  • Strong interdisciplinary thinking and leadership skills - experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams across business, design, product and engineering
  • A strong appetite for growth – as a business, as a leader of people, and as an individual
  • Experience in driving corporate decision making through the lens of the customer
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with the flexibility to accommodate demanding initiative schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to foster a cooperative, results-driven work environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and experiences at the Executive level.
  • Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple work streams for on-time product delivery.

To give our people flexibility, this position can be offered as remote however, eligible workers are those who live OOS and/or an air flight away within CA. Excluded are those who live local to HQ. Those that live local to HQ can be considered if they are willing to work the Hybrid Schedule. Munchkin's Hybrid Schedule is where an employee works in the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday's, and Tuesday and Friday's remotely from home.

Salary range: $165,000 - $185,000
