This is a temporary position for a temporary leave coverage assignment. The Temp ACD will help oversee the creative experience across multiple channels and work on the award-winning Brand Design team and is responsible for crafting the voice of the brand across multiple touch points, including digital media (Munchkin.com, emails, and digital advertising), physical consumer experiences (retail and events), product naming and packaging, PR efforts, and internal projects.What You’ll Do:• Contribute to the creative strategy, the general direction of the brand voice, and overall copy for Munchkin and its sub-brands such as Curio.• Collaborate with creative team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of Munchkin’s branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives.• Drive alignment around design decisions by soliciting, synthesizing, and managing design feedback from multiple directions.• Hands-on copywriting and creative execution - from conception through production to delivery - to build a holistic vision for marketing campaigns across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.• Drive alignment around design decisions by soliciting, synthesizing, and managing design feedback from multiple directions.• Make decisions and drive the adoption of mechanisms that elevate how we approach marketing communications.• Ensure that content and communications maintain brand consistency across a multitude of channels including digital, social, advertising, and experiential.• Work with other internal teams to develop on-strategy branding and messaging.• Work with strategic planners to develop product marketing communications Ideate and execute creative copywriting solutions Work closely with web and UX teams to create copy and communications surrounding digital products.• Work in Munchkin’s in-house Brand Design team to create strategic marketing assets for projects including, but not limited to, product packaging, digital marketing (email, web banners, social media, digital experiences, social assets, etc.), retail displays, internal sales communication, and video content.• Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts.• Other duties may be assigned.Bring It!• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with an English/Journalism focus.• Minimum 8+ years of experience in an advertising or in-house creative role, both print and digital marketing/advertising experience, with an emphasis on CPG branding.• Mastery of written communication, both short- and long-form.• Proven creative ability and ability to present and sell creative ideas.• Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems and exceptional ability to understand, communicate, and develop creative solutions that address specific business/marketing objectives.• A solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles.• Strong digital portfolio demonstrating strategic and creative strength.• Accuracy and attention to detail.• Be a steward of and maintain the Munchkin Brand in all creative created in-house, and develop a copy style guide to ensure the copy consistency throughout the brand.• Must be a team player, able to work within budgets and tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.• An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.We Got You Covered!We regularly hold social functions to foster a genuine camaraderie that enhances teamwork. Temporary staffing agency benefits may apply.Hourly Rate of Pay Range: $60-74/hr (DOE)To give our people flexibility, we offer a hybrid work environment.
