JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Project Management is responsible for the tracking, organizing, and execution of creative projects and campaigns. The qualified candidate will work as part of the Creative and Marketing team to set project milestones and expectations in coordination with internal clients, copywriters, graphic designers, video producers, and our in-house print shop to keep projects on time and within budget. They are the liaison between the creative team and the internal client to gather requirements to successfully execute the project or tasks. In addition, they are responsible for mentoring and leading other project managers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skills.
- Ability to lead meetings and drive client conversations to gather objectives, goals, and requirements effectively.
- Experience with the production of creative deliverables – graphic design, print, and video.
- Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in Project Management applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead project meetings with clients and stakeholders to gather objectives, goals, and requirements for the creative team
- Work with the head of the creative team to develop creative briefs
- Work with clients, copywriters, designers, and video producers to develop cost estimates and project plans.
- Delegate work to team members based on skills and expertise.
- Work with internal printshop and external vendors to ensure materials are printed on time.
- Manage projects, tasks, and schedules using our project management system – Monday.com
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants
- Manage and lead other creative project managers to ensure projects are on track.
- Generate project reports to the head of the creative.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 10 years project management experience
- Minimum of 5-year experience in creative production
- Project Management Certified
- Bachelor’s Degree required
