Description:

As the Director of Security, Centralized Security Monitoring Center (SECOM) & Security Systems Advisor is a combination of Security Consultant, Director of Security Personnel and Virtual Security and Security Advisor for BHSF-SECOM and BHE-REM.As the Director of Security; directs all aspects of the operations of the BHE Security in accordance with all applicable regulations and the Mission and Vision of BHSF. Exercise line command authority over the security operations of BHE. Directs the management and implementation of security programs to ensure a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors and ensure facility-wide regulatory compliance with all BHSF standards & local, state, and federal regulations. Conducts physical assessments and develops security recommendations for the security of all new, existing and acquisitions of Real Estate Properties. As the Director of SECOM; Direct the operations of the SECOM, coordinated efforts to emergency and non-emergency response. Directs the development,execution,implementation,and operations of SECOM; the strategies and operations including making assessments, capital utilization, efficiency planning and assessment. Responsible for implementing new technologies, automation, and strategies to improve performance of SECOM. Estimated salary range for this position is $93342.24 - $121344.91 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications:

Degrees: Bachelors Licenses & Certifications: Drivers License from Florida Additional Qualifications: Oversight of an emergency call center preferred. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative with a sense of urgency is critical. Expert analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence at all levels. Exercise appropriate judgment based on experience and general business skills (e.g., problem-solving, dispute resolution). Skilled in analyzing data to drive results. Expert communication skills with ability to communicate with internal and external customers both written and oral. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop good working relationships are essential. Strong presentation skills are necessary. Working knowledge of regulatory agencies including but not limited to Joint Commission, AHCA, CLIA as it pertains to Security Operations. Preferred highly proficient with computer applications such as Word and Excel. Knowledge of Access Control and Surveillance systems such as Duos Praesidium and Honeywell Nexwatch preferred.
