Director, Product Management - Growth

23andMe is looking for a PM Director to lead the Product Growth team to drive both new and existing customers toward the value inherent in the 23andMe product experience. In this role, you will drive increasing customer acquisition, engagement, retention and lifetime value; methodically test and evaluate those ideas; and incorporate them into the 23andMe product experience – which offers customers interactive genetic results and tools to more deeply manage their health, as well as telehealth and telepharmacy services. We are looking for candidates who have an insatiable passion to optimize the customer funnel, generate customer virality, and grow our telehealth and subscription businesses.

What You'll Do

• Drive strategy and outcomes to grow consumer revenue for 23andMe through growth tactics across multiple channels, including store, in-product, onboarding, and email cutting across both genetic testing and telehealth
• Build cross-functional relationships and processes with other product managers, engineering, analytics, design, and marketing to drive initiatives
• Define success metrics for, measure, and evaluate the impact of product efforts
• Analyze and understand data, and leverage that understanding to make data-driven decisions
• Understand the customer by collaborating with our consumer insights, product marketing and broader product teams
• Prioritize and own the growth, engagement, and monetization product roadmap and build and launch new products and features to continually drive value for customers and prospective customers
• Identify and evaluate growth tactics across the competitive landscape. Evangelize new growth tactics within 23andMe to drive adoption of novel approaches and underlying technologies

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years experience in consumer growth product management
• 5+ years experience hiring, mentoring, and leading a team of product managers and a track record as an amazing manager
• Product growth experience with proven record of leading a team to meet specific KPIs (e.g., revenue, lifetime value)
• Track record of building strong subscription businesses
• Solid understanding of value drivers in business models similar to 23andMe
• Strong experimentation skills, including hypothesis generation, A/B testing, and results analysis
• Experience or familiarity with mobile app development practices
• Ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization, from C-level to individual contributors
• Ability to manage and influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
• Enthusiasm and creativity to inspire others

Strongly Preferred

• Experience building consumer product exhibiting network effects
• Familiarity with UX and information architecture best practices
