Director of Product Marketing, Data Security

Rubrik is looking for a Director, Product Marketing to lead our data security product marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, this position will be responsible for developing compelling and differentiated messaging, positioning, and both customer-facing and enablement content to drive awareness, engagement, and expansion of Rubrik’s portfolio of sensitive data discovery, ransomware investigation, and threat hunting products.

You will have the opportunity to work across functional groups to drive campaign messaging, product launches, sales enablement initiatives, and lead subject matter experts to drive the growth of Rubrik’s data security offerings.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, develop a team of product marketing managers so they can thrive in a very fast-paced, fast-changing environment
  • Work closely with the security product management team to align on key market problems and overall go-to-market strategy for data security
  • Build differentiated messaging and positioning for existing and new target personas
  • Lead the development and maintenance of core product collateral including web pages, datasheets, presentations, webinars, whitepapers, videos, and blogs
  • Work closely with Analyst Relations to drive engagement strategy and briefing materials that clearly position Rubrik as the leader in data security with top analysts
  • Work closely with the Field Enablement and Competitive Intelligence teams to ensure field has training and tools needed to win in an extremely competitive market

Experience you’ll need

  • 12+ years of product marketing experience including a track record of building and managing high-performance teams
  • Exceptional skills in creating differentiated, product positioning and company messaging
  • Ability to define an end-to-end marketing plan, and then lead cross-functional teams to execute the plan
  • Strong presentation skills to represent Rubrik in customer meetings, virtual events and webinars, conferences, and more
  • Proven spokesperson abilities to land company messages to business media, trade press, and industry analysts
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range
$208,300—$312,500 USD
