The Opportunity

Cala Health is seeking a Director, Professional Medical Education & Training to join our growing team. This role is responsible for creating and executing the strategy for medical and clinical education for Health Care Professionals and internal stakeholders and advancing the network of healthcare professionals for Cala Health. The role will report into the Vice President, Product and Medical Affairs.

Specific Responsibilities also include

Create clinical and medical training and education program for Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and for internal teams, including but not limited to Customer Care, Sales, HEOR, Research.
Execute and deliver training across various topics including product, disease state, clinical evidence and sales force effectiveness.
Develop training materials that support the needs of the teams interacting with HCPs.
Develop content and strategy for training programs in partnership with cross functional stakeholders.
Develop and build a network of HCP faculty by identifying appropriate program needs and requirements such as webinars, case studies, evidence generating programs and presentations.
Work with Health Care Professionals to create medical content for programs.
Collaborate with Medical Director to develop Key Opinion Leader network for creating and managing Advisory Boards.
Provide input into required clinical evidence needed from Health Care Professionals.
In collaboration with Medical Director, support requests for medical data to internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience

We are looking for a training leader to support Medical Affairs in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, exemplified by:

Exemplary communication, presentation and leadership skills
Experience training individuals and teams
Ability to read, digest, analyze and communicate technical and clinical articles and evidence to a variety of audiences
Bachelor's degree required
Advanced degree in medical profession preferred (MD, MS, MPH)
10+ years experience working with Healthcare Professionals – training and education
Medical device and/or neuro experience preferred
Field-based role
