About IT System and Cloud Engineer:
We are looking for an expert and committed IT System Administrator to oversee, develop and maintain our company’s IT systems.
To be successful, you are very knowledgeable in Azure cloud infrastructure, cyber security, Identity Access Management, application administration, and can manage and ensure the efficient operation of our Information Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure the efficient operation of our Microsoft Windows and Linux servers, network, hardware and software systems, including extensive oversight of our Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our IT systems, including network configurations and cloud resources.
- Provide prompt and effective second and third level support to employees, addressing and resolving technical issues to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design, deploy and upgrade Azure cloud solutions that meet the company’s operational needs.
- Document, manage, maintain and improve the Azure cloud architecture.
- Implement and oversee security protocols for our information systems to safeguard company data.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve the scalability and efficiency of Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor Azure cloud expenses and optimize costs without compromising service integrity.
- Update documentation, procedures, and work instructions for IT.
- Participate in IT related projects as required.
Work Experience and Education requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, 5 to 7 years of experience.
- Proven experience in similar position.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365; certification a plus.
- Strong background in cybersecurity, ensuring the highest levels of protection across the organization.
- High proficiency on IAM (Identify Access Management) platforms.
- Proven experience in creating scripts in Python or PowerShell to automate repetitive operations.
- Proven experience with ITIL processes, certification is a plus.
- Good experience with Containers and Kubernetes.
- Knowledgeable with Jira and Confluence Atlassian solutions.
- Knowledgeable with Google Workspace.
- Familiar with Database administration (MS-SQL).
- Familiar with cloud business applications (CRM, ERP), Box.
- Familiar with CI/CD.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize a diverse workload.
- Flexible, agile mindset, service oriented, customer-focused, results-focused.
