Distribution Sales Manager

The Role:

Responsible for driving BeyondTrust revenue by supporting assigned distribution partners, including driving the sales of BeyondTrust product portfolio through distribution to new and existing reseller partners. This position will work with the regional CAMs to successfully develop Distributor accounts thus enabling growth of BeyondTrust solutions.

What You’ll Do:


  • Champion the product, business, and merit of our solutions with assigned distributors at all levels for the purpose of gaining the maximum exposure, share, and loyalty of the overall business.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution plan for assigned distribution channel partners and meet defined targets for sales and other key performance metrics.
  • Work with Regional Sales Directors, Regional Sales Managers, and Field Sales to drive and ensure sales collaboration
  • Provide accurate and timely and useable product and benefit information to partner sales personnel.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting, management reports, and marketing plan updates.
  • Work with Marketing in the development, communication, and coordination of joint marketing programs with assigned distributors.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 or more years of proven successful distribution management experience
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quota and specific supporting programs to objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience cooperatively working in a sales team to achieve results.
  • Ability to create and manage partner-related enablement programs.
  • Can work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of cyber security or similar space

  • Demonstrated "hunter" sales and account management skills.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Demonstrated a high degree of initiative, integrity, and business ethics.
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to think quickly and creatively under pressure.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
