Distribution Systems Manager

DUTIES: Manage a team of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) SuperUsers who provide technical support to Distribution Operations management team(s) while finding creative solutions, making recommendations for process improvements and supporting key initiatives. Provide direction and assess risks around DC projects, system upgrades, and process improvements. Job duties include: Manage and foster a team that collaborates with DC Operations, application vendors, and Global IT in resolving system related issues; All WMS and Operational systems functional testing related to process improvements, changes in business models, and system upgrades; Make recommendations regarding process changes, test results, project progression, and system upgrades; Manage all aspects of assigned projects from timeline creation, resources, communication and status indicators.; Identify and implement tools/methods for documenting, tracking, and reporting of changes and their impact(s) to the operation; Maintain appropriate level of expertise in software applications and corresponding processes related to the distribution center, Including, but not limited to: Manhattan, Beumer, Intelligrated, Put to Light, SAP, Omni-hub, SCI, Detego, Accutech, MS Office Suite, and SQL Developer; Create and manage a development program to ensure education and retention of knowledge in systems used with NAM Distribution; Develop training programs for key WMS users to effectively utilize the system and enhance performance (audit use and effectiveness, adjusting as needed); Oversee and ensure creation of process flows and SOPs related to projects and process improvements/changes; and Develop and maintain best practices for all relative job functions within the realm of responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a directly related field, and five (5) years of experience in a related Systems Management or Landscape / Distribution position. Work experience must have included 3 years of experience with: 1) SQL; 2) MS Office Suite; Functional and technical knowledge of applications used in distribution centers and Warehouse Management Systems, such as Manhattan; 3) Project Management; and 4) ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues with Distribution Center related applications related to configure and system interfaces
