Responsibilities

Job Summary / Purpose

The DEI Data Analyst will mine, analyze, and manage a broad array of quantitative and qualitative diversity data to develop reports to identify and monitor ODEIB priorities, answer client requests, frame business impact and shape DEI strategy.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Health Equity priorities are grounded in accurate needs assessments and adaptive to changing needs for CSH communities through continuous and ongoing quantitative data analyses
  • Marry quantitative information to qualitative insights from our communities, employees and relationship networks to create in-depth understandings from which to build integrated strategies for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Partner with Human Resources to identify diversity representation metrics to analyze hiring, retention and growth of underrepresented employees
  • Partner with appropriate matrixed departments including IT & Data Analytics, Medical Informatics, and Quality to support and obtain patient diversity data (e.g., REaL, SOGI, Health Equity)
  • Independently manage and complete DEIB data requests and reports
  • Visualize data and build scorecards/dashboards and executive presentations that identify insights and trends on key metrics that impact decision making
  • Support the development and refinement of performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of activities supporting CSH’s ODEIB priorities, including the Health Equity Blueprint for Action; performing ad-hoc analysis to enhance understanding of identified metrics
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support projects through all stages of the project life-cycle

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree
2 years of experience in data analytics
May substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong project and time management skills including the ability to prioritize, plan and deliver effectively
  • Analytical skills with the ability to gather and synthesize data to tell a story
  • Experience in obtaining data from multiple sources, technologies, and programs
  • The ability to present information clearly and in a manner that is understandable to people with varying degrees of analytical knowledge

Pay Range
$29.16 - $42.28 /hour
