ROLE SUMMARY:
We’re seeking an ambitious commercial transactions attorney to provide timely, high quality legal support to our business partners. We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys working cross-functionally and helping internal teams meet their goals. This role will report to Corporate Counsel and will provide support on data privacy agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal matters as needed. As a member of a small legal team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of other legal projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make an impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, draft, negotiate, and lead commercial contracts, vendor, channel, and SaaS agreements
• Work collaboratively to draft and negotiate marketing agreements, including influencer and partnership agreements
• Provide pragmatic, business-minded guidance on contract-related issues
• Understand the application of data privacy agreements and other privacy regulations to drive efficient agreement reviews and build strategic processes in collaboration with our Engineering team
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctor with a license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 1-2 years of experience with transactional legal work
• Deep experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
• Data privacy experience and a working knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international privacy law experience is a plus
• Strong communication and analytical skills and the ability to describe and discuss complex issues in a way that is straightforward and relatable to the business
• Ownership mentality with an ability to handle shifting priorities in a dynamic environment

POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time exempt position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a remote position in the United States.

SALARY:
$90,000-$130,000 + Bonus
