Inside Sales Representative

Dover Precision Components is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for our Inpro/Seal brand. We are a world leader in the design and manufacture of permanent bearing protection and complete shaft sealing solutions for a variety of rotating equipment across multiple industries.We offer the ability to work remotely 2 days a week and onsite 3 days a week at our ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility in Rock Island, Illinois. We also offer competitive pay and benefits, and the ability to be a key member of the Sales Team, delivering outstanding customer experience through the processing and support of order management and quotation activities, working collaboratively to deliver customer value, and participating in improving internal processes to reduce waste, improve speed, and enhance customer outcomes.WHAT YOU’LL DO• Act as the voice of the customer, taking ownership of the customer experience, analyzing customer feedback, and recommending appropriate responses.• Receive and act on customer calls, faxes, e-mails, and voicemails.• Negotiate with customers on issues pertaining to price, lead time, and special-order requirements.• Prepare initial quotations (creating costs when possible). Set product price and lead time.• Solicit sale of new and/or additional services.• Receive and process customer purchase order in the system. Execute contract review for technical and commercial terms, ensuring alignment with quotations and actioning or negotiating as required.• Complete contract forms, determine charges for service requested, collect deposits, prepare change of address records, and issue discontinuance orders.• Adjust complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.• Participate in project teams and Lean Manufacturing initiatives, working in a Continuous Improvement environment.WHAT YOU’LL BRING• 2+ years’ experience in Inside Sales and/or Customer Service roles supporting the sale of manufactured goods.• Demonstrated ability to understand customer’s problems and to develop solutions which meet or exceed customer expectations.• Excellent communication and presentation skills – Ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.• Proven problem-solving skills.• Ability to work in a highly matrixed, fast- paced organization and collaborate cross-functionally.• Demonstrated competency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.• Familiarity with CRM systems and customer service/inside sales tools such as Syteline and Qlik Sense.DOVER PRECISION COMPONENTSDover Precision Components ‘DPC’ (‘the Company’) is part of Dover Corporation’s (‘the Parent Company’) Pumps and Process solutions segment.
