We are looking for passionate, talented people who want to join us in our mission to inspire and educate men to be happier and healthier!About the Role:• The Consumer Insights Sr. Associate will support initiatives related to product innovation and optimization, marketing, retail, and other business functions. A successful candidate will have a passion for consumer behavior, great attention to detail, experience with multiple research approaches and interest in the CPG landscape.• Are you naturally curious? If so, then this role might be for you!• This role will report to the Manager of Consumer Insights.• This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based out of our HQ office in Marina del Rey, CA, and expect employees to be in-office for a minimum of three days a week.• The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $70,000 to $90,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.What You'll Do:• Conduct research (quantitative + qualitative) to improve our understanding of consumers, their preferences & motivations for personal care products, as well as product performance and feedback• Support pre-launch product development through research and provide thoughtful recommendations via data-driven storytelling• Evaluate post-launch product performance through quantitative analysis and provide feedback for product improvement• Strengthen Consumer Insights team capabilities through research execution including surveys, customer interviews, ethnographic research, focus groups and product testing (IHUTs)• Execute cross-functional research projects for teams across the organization including marketing, retail, international and our new women’s brand, Jukebox• Catalog and maintain databases of team and project materials, including reports, data files, recordings and transcripts, etc.• Help develop the Consumer Insights team as a strategic partner by scaling our in-house research operations and capabilitiesAbout You:• Bachelor’s degree – ideally in business, marketing, psychology, sociology or related fields• 3+ years consumer or market research experience, supporting the entire research lifecycle for initiatives such as new product innovation, consumer trend analysis and customer segmentation• Highly collaborative and able to apply both left and right brain thinking for problem-solving• Analytical and strategic thinker excited to ensure Dr. Squatch continues innovating across the universe of existing and new product categories• Extremely detail-oriented, organized and resourceful• Innovative and able to find creative solutions for the unique challenges of a fast-growing startup environment• Insatiably curious, thrives in ambiguity and able to adapt to shifting priorities• Great communication and interpersonal skills• Strong interest in health, wellness, and natural productsWho We Are:Our core values come naturally and make us a better, more whole, and unique team.
