The Role Logistics

We're thrilled to welcome a new team member in the role of Senior Community Manager

This is a fully remote role with flexibility in working hours, but you will be expected to be responsive and available to engage with members during standard U.S. business hours. We’re open to applicants outside the U.S. as long as they can overlap with these hours. 

Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and scope of work. We are open to part-time arrangements, provided a minimum of approximately 30 hours per week can be dedicated to this role.

Initially structured as a 1099 position, there is potential for the role to transition into a W-2 employee position over time.

Responsibilities and Areas of Need

You’ll be the glue of the community, executing on a wide range of projects aimed at enhancing member engagement and experiences, supercharging our community offerings, and connecting with potential members. Simultaneously, you’ll help develop various community initiatives and help us think strategically about what’s next. 

This isn’t your typical virtual community leader role—it’s a heart-led opportunity to authentically support our members while driving strategic, impact-focused initiatives.

Everyone on the team is encouraged to be strategic and always be thinking about how to improve their work and keep moving the needle for greater impact. 

You will collaborate directly with the CEO/Founder and other team members to achieve project goals. While you’ll be hands-on in managing the community, you’ll also have access to a team of admins to support you with administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on higher-level community engagement and growth.

Community Engagement & Leadership

  • Engage with our impressive and values-driven members through our virtual members-only community platform, through 1x1 and group calls (approximately 5–12 calls per week), as well as email.
  • Provide hands-on support to members, helping them navigate challenges and opportunities.
  • Connect members through thoughtful, high-value introductions.
  • Craft conversation starters and foster discussions that inspire connection and collaboration.
  • Monitor engagement metrics, identifying opportunities to enhance the member experience.
  • Connect with potential members through email and 1x1 calls.
  • Potential for in-person gatherings, depending on where you are based.

Community Strategy

  • Design and implement initiatives that strengthen relationships and amplify impact among members.
  • Analyze community metrics to refine strategy and improve member retention and satisfaction.
  • Develop partnerships that provide high-value opportunities for members (e.g., speaking engagements).
  • Support the Editorial team by reviewing community-related content and assets.

Virtual Event Programming & Facilitation

  • Plan and execute virtual events that deliver meaningful impact, blending educational and social elements.
  • Host and moderate events, including new member welcome calls.
  • Collaborate with the team responsible for event logistics to ensure seamless execution.

  • At least 4–6 years of relevant work experience, which may include community management, event facilitation, coaching, marketing, sales, partnerships, copywriting, social media management, entrepreneurship, and other roles requiring strong people skills and a focus on creating meaningful outcomes.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, high emotional intelligence, and strong discernment.
  • In-depth and varied professional background, ideally including exposure to entrepreneurship.
  • Proven ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and foster meaningful connections.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with a knack for crafting authentic, impactful messaging.
