Community Manager

Laita Labs is the main development team behind ParaSwap, a leading DeFi exchange and middleware with another 87 Billion dollars in lifetime volume. In addition to building the smart contract protocols, Laita Labs is also responsible for its Web3 API, used by many of the leading protocols in the space.,

As one of the most established protocols in space, ParaSwap has a global community composed of users with different experiences interacting with Web3. From newcomers to the space to advanced smart contract developers, being part of the ParaSwap community places you at the heart of DeFi.

To reach out to our community, we use both traditional communication methods like Twitter, Telegram and Discord as well as novel coordination mechanisms, such as working with ParaSwap DAO and engaging in onchain social networks.

As ParaSwap continues to grow in its number of users interacting with the protocol, we at Laita wish to empower its growth by finding someone who can help scale our communication with the community and make it show that we are both hearing them and helping them navigate this ever changing space.

Your role as a Community Manager will be to help with the day-to-day support of the community, be it in answering questions they might have about ParaSwap or DeFi, engage proactively with them on social media, or create content of recent updates to keep everyone in the know of latest developments.   Working with the Laita Labs team will give you the opportunity to connect to a new emerging world and assist with onboarding users to the future of finance and self-ownership, all while collaborating with a top-notch team of developers and builders.

  • Strong familiarity with the English language, with other languages being also a strong optional. 
  • Understanding of Ethereum block explorers, transaction diagnostics and wallet interactions with dApps
  • Experience in written community communication, be it through short-form social media or help center articles.
  • Familiarity with customer service and satisfaction and best practices for conflict resolution
  • Acquainted with the Web3 culture and community in both social networks and forums, preferably within the context of ParaSwap DAO or one of its major partners.
  • [optional] Familiarity with the ParaSwap API and SDK, or other similar protocols
  • Ability to work well in a small agile team and independently
