This position reports directly to the Drug Screening Program Supervisor
Skills and knowledge required:
The individual must have adequate visual and auditory abilities to perform job duties effectively. Must have writing skills needed for completing paperwork. Must be able to stand for long periods, and be comfortable with close observation during urinalysis.
Prior experience required:
No prior experience required; however, a medical or healthcare background is preferred.
Personal qualities:
Must be able to maintain confidentiality to the highest degree. Must be supportive and sensitive to the culture of addiction, feelings and needs of DSP clients. Must be professional at all times when dealing with employees, outside agencies and authorities.
Amount of travel and other special conditions or requirements:
Minimum travel may be required occasionally to attend training or to purchase supplies.
Work Schedule:
No more than a 19-hour work week for Part-time position.
