POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of a sales leader the Senior Sales Executive performs a critical sales role in partnership with Operations, Quality Control, Procurement, Marketing, Transportation and Executive Company leaders. This key sales position comes with established business relationships and a proven ability to lead the implementation of near-term and long-term business strategies for assigned customer accounts, that provides the business an opportunity to grow revenue, gross margins, and profits.
The primary responsibility of the position is ensuring the execution of sales and account management strategies and activities to deliver upon key account revenue, profit, unit movement and customer satisfaction objectives to include growth targets in each of these areas.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accountable for account revenue, profit, unit movement and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Actively studies and self-educates on the company’s competitive landscape and market product trends.
• Moves opportunities through the business development pipeline based on various analyses along technical, cost/benefit, risk, regulatory, market timing, and operational and grower capacities.
• Partner with Category managers to drive sales and execution of category initiatives and offerings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customer accounts to drive and elevate brand awareness and capabilities.
• Organize and drive all account sales due diligence, and decision-making processes to enable efficient execution and attainment of revenue, profit, unit, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Lead customer engagement and business review strategies and potential sales opportunities.
• Create customer proposals and presentations.
• Represent the organization at tradeshows and networking events.
• Identify sales and penetration opportunities through analytical review of assigned customers.
• Prospect for potential new clients and prepare proposals and quotes and be part of the sales process.
• Prepare and enter sales orders
• Establish effective working relationships with Ops / QC to maximize knowledge of PTF operations/procedures in order to deliver upon customer product specs and satisfaction.
• Ensure AR / AP requirements regarding trouble reports and/or invoicing are addressed.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Any combination of education and experience likely to provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, typically:
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, operations, business management, or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution, in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience in fresh produce commodities required.
