Senior Fund Accounting Analyst

DV Group is seeking a skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join its dynamic Accounting team in Chicago. The accountant will play a key role in the analysis and reporting for private investment funds.

Skills

Advanced Excel skills
Ability to interpret large data sets
SQL and/or Python knowledge
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Execute daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting procedures for private funds
Account for capital activity including subscriptions and redemptions
Calculate and monitor expense accruals
Process expense payments
Account for fund income
Reconcile cash and portfolio positions to custody/broker records
Verify and calculate Net Asset Value (NAV)
Assist in regulatory filings and audits

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification is desirable
