Join Our Learning & Development Department
We understand that providing employees with engaging training is a key driver of engagement, retention, and growth. We are seeking an e-learning content developer to create training that is consistent with a commitment to performance enablement.

Reporting to the director of Learning & Development, the e-learning content developer will be responsible for using the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation framework to create effective training solutions to meet business needs.

As an e-learning content developer at ECG, you’ll be an important part of our corporate operations team. Your Responsibilities May Include:
  • Creating and delivering creative, innovative, and high-quality e-learning solutions for a variety of audiences.
  • Collaborating with the instructional designer to develop and build content using blended learning methodologies and effective design principles to promote learning and development (e.g., classroom-based learning; reference workbooks; job aids; e-learning; virtual, on-demand self-paced, and on-the-job stretch assignments).
  • Demonstrating an understanding of and utilizing adult learning principles and leading-edge instructional design methods to create meaningful learning experiences.
  • Ensuring e-learning content meets accessibility standards and is compatible with the learning management system (LMS) to align with overall learning architecture and design strategies.
  • Overseeing and maintaining LMS assignments, reporting, and user profiles as well as assessing and maintaining the course catalog.
  • Uploading, testing, and troubleshooting technical issues with courses and communications between SCORM and/or AICC and the LMS.
  • Keeping current on trends and best practices in the e-learning industry; learning theory; motivation theory; and new materials, methods, and techniques.

Our Expectations of You

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, education, organizational development, instructional systems, or related degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of three years developing and delivering e-learning content with demonstration of the application of effective adult learning principles, theories, and practices
  • Experience developing learning solutions with the Articulate suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, and Vyond
  • Experience in Cornerstone LMS administration or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint); an ability to quickly learn and understand other company applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with and engage audiences of differing levels (e.g., individual contributors, frontline supervisors, senior leaders)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively connect with others; viewed as approachable and as a responsive resource for employees and leaders
  • Strong project management and organization skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • An ability to operate with a high level of autonomy under direction from the director of Learning & Development
Job Locations
Must be based near an ECG office in the following cities: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, San Diego, Seattle, St. Louis, or Washington, DC. Able to work remotely.
