What does the job entail?

Daily tasks:
  • Participate in the definition, implementation and promotion of the Digital
Business Development requirements and innovations to facilitate the growth of
the Digital Business in the EM Flow, Macro and DM Flow Value Chains
  • Promote and monitor Flow Institutional business across the different products in
3rd Party Client Digital Channels
  • Represent GSS in NY in the definition and implementation of the different global
Business Intelligence initiatives / workstreams
  • Represent GSS in NY in the definition and implementation of the different global
Marketing initiatives / workstreams
  • Concretely, but not limited to, collaborate with in-line manager in defining and
implementing the e-commerce strategy and working plan to meet internal &
external customer needs and demands.
  • Interact permanently with clients and attend periodic visits together with other
GM areas.
  • Reinforce BBVA relationship with clients.
  • Analyse and monitor client activity via electronic platforms and overall.
  • Elaborate and distribute periodic and ad-hoc reports based on the clients ́
electronic platform activity.
  • Coordinate with the FX and FI eCommerce support teams the clients’ on-
boarding in the different internal and external platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Trading and Sales teams in order to establish the adequate
parameters for each client in the electronic platforms (spreads, prices, etc.).
  • Perform business cases on clients that should be given special conditions
(price, margins, volume, etc.) due to strategic and commercial issues.
  • Assist and manage all legal documentation of new eCommerce platforms.
  • Represent Sales with other GM desks and Global Client Coverage teams of any
product or functionality development in the platforms.
  • Ensure front-to-end service to eClients by working together with BackOffice on
new ePlatform ventures or other systems relating to the electronic trading
platforms.


What are we looking for?
Academic Degree:
  • Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, etc...
  • Masters degree valuable.
Previous Experience:
  • Experience with Global Markets Products: i.e. Fixed Income Securities, Fixed Income
Derivatives, FX Spot, FX Derivatives
  • Experience with Third party Electronic Platforms i.e. Tradeweb, MarketAxess,
Bloomberg, etc and/or an e-sales role
  • Understanding of derivatives and overall markets structures
  • Experience in project management, workflow establishment and database
development.


Qualifications and technical knowledge:
  • Knowledge of project management, workflow establishment and database
development.
  • Interest in Marketing and Digital Marketing
  • Knowledge of market products
  • Nice to have: understanding of database management, data analytics,
programming skills
Languages:
  • English
  • Spanish is a plus

Legal requirements

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $110,000.00 - 125,000.00. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
