About the job

Alcoa is seeking an Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) support specialist to join our team at the Massena location, specifically within the Planning / Scheduling team.

The incumbent will provide first level representation for the location as the need arises when there are modifications to business processes within the Maintenance Systems. You will further be responsible to monitor capabilities of end users, evaluate system efficiency, coordinate, and execute application refresher training when required.

Additional duties include:

Workflow analysis, recommendations and documentation
System Interface and Integration analysis, recommendations and documentation
System cutover, debut and post go-live support
Develop functional and technical specifications based on the analysis of maintenance operations, detailing requirements
Evaluate efficiency of the EAM system and propose enhancements and/or new solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency
Performs gap and/or impact analysis and designs, as appropriate, data updates, application modifications, interfaces and configuration changes
Champion the correct configuration and use of Oracle eAM / REX Tools for Massena. Draw on the detailed understanding of program functions and how it interfaces with the REX dashboard tools.
Act as Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for all communications from the support team back to the Location. This person will provide the interface for the Business Unit (BU) support staff within these groups when issues are identified, and enhancements are required.
Provide support of the business functional user group with the development of the scope for RICE (Reports – Interfaces-Customizations-Enhancements) requests via Power Bi.
Supervise and validate electronic work order flow process through maintenance platform.
Provide support and data validation of maintenance KPI’s reporting systems with Asset Planner(s).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work optimally with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse organization
Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop and implement appropriate technical solutions
Skill in the use and programming of relational databases, such as MS Access/Excel, Oracle and SQL Server
Ability to apply web-based technologies to multi-disciplinary projects within specified time constraints
Ability to provide operational guidance and leadership to technical staff in area of specialty.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in a related Technical, Scientific, or Engineering discipline with a minimum of 3 years’ experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified
