Job Summary and Description:
The Early Career Talent Acquisition Specialist will support early career and intern recruiting activities throughout all EPRI’s business (Business Operations and R&D). You will develop relationships with students, hiring managers, HR partners and university representatives to plan for and execute recruiting strategies for EPRI’s Early Career Program. You will be responsible for identifying and recruiting early career professionals including coordinating campus recruiting. Responsibilities will include conducting intake sessions with hiring managers, coordinating activities with the Talent Acquisition Manager and other Human Resources staff, maintaining data in the applicant tracking system. There will also be an expectation of developing talent pipelines and deepening market knowledge to help shorten hiring timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for full life-cycle early career and intern recruiting nationwide and candidate experience. This includes job advertising, candidate screening, interview coordination and offer extension
Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers and HR Partners to assist in early career hiring needs
Identify target academic institutions and develop a plan for early career recruitment. Work with the Talent Acquisition manager to align resource and help execute all academic recruiting activities
Utilize social media to assist in developing the EPRI employment brand
Identify and maximize traditional and non-traditional effective recruiting sources for top talent identification and pipeline development
Maintain competitor intelligence and market opportunities for recruitment opportunities
May provide onsite recruiting support as needed
Attend university career fairs for on-campus recruiting and national affinity group conferences
Willing to travel up to 10-15%
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
1-3 years of recruiting or talent sourcing experience
Experience using a broad range of sourcing techniques, including university job boards, LinkedIn, advertising, direct research, social media, etc.
Experience utilizing one or more applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Stakeholder engagement experience
Skills and Attributes:
The ability to build connections with business leaders, partners, and teammates with focus on strong leadership, consulting, and client management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in fast face environment while meeting hiring deadlines
Must be able to handle high volume recruiting demands while being adaptable and flexible
Ability to build and maintain information using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ideal Candidate:
Experience utilizing Workday as an ATS
Experience recruiting international students or processing work authorization/visas
Previous recruiting agency experience
Experience with university recruiting tools such as Handshake, Sympticity, etc.
Accessible to the EPRI Charlotte, NC, Knoxville, TN or Palo Alto, CA office
The salary range for this position is $63,975 USD to $86,525 USD annually.
This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).
