Role Overview
As the Client Reporting Associate, you will own the end‑to‑end production of monthly, quarterly, and annual institutional reports and help design the data pipelines, models, and dashboards that power them. Your work will ensure our clients receive timely, accurate insight while the firm’s reporting infrastructure becomes faster, smarter, and more scalable.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Reporting
- Manage the full reporting calendar: monthly, quarterly, and annual for clients and consultants.
- Prepare, proof, and deliver account performance summaries, attribution, and commentary.
- Coordinate sign‑offs from Product Management, Compliance, and other teams to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
2. Data Validation & Quality Assurance
- Reconcile positions, performance, and risk data; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain reporting databases and reference tables, ensuring single‑source‑of‑truth alignment across teams.
3. Template Design & Presentation
- Enhance report layouts, visuals, and narrative sections to strengthen client engagement.
- Ensure all materials follow corporate branding and regulatory standards.
4. Process Improvement & Documentation
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement solutions to reduce cycle time and error rates.
- Document data flows, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and continuity.
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work with Product Management, Investment, Technology and Compliance teams to gather data requirements and fulfill custom reporting requests.
- Act as project manager for client‑specific initiatives that require coordinated data or presentation updates.
6. Compliance & Governance
- Enforce data‑governance and security protocols, ensuring all reports meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing data, documentation, and explanations as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: 3 - 5 years in service-oriented operations with heavy client‑reporting responsibilities (asset management or financial services experience a plus).
Reporting Tools: Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF
Data Platforms: Experience with FactSet, FIS, or Bloomberg is a plus
Automation & Technical Skills: Basic SQL and Python for data pulls and validations; experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau) a plus.
Organization & Detail: Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines across multiple reporting cycles.
Communication Skills: Clear, concise verbal and written skills; effective collaboration abilities across functional teams and stakeholders.
Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
