Job Description

At Eataly the FP&A Analyst supports the FP&A Manager in their analysis and interpretation of data related to: Inventory Allocation, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Labor, Revenue, Operational Expenses, and the Profit and Loss Statement. The FP&A Analyst works closely with the FP&A Manager to provide analysis and execute changes as needed to maximize profitability and productivity.

Reports directly to the FP&A Manager.

· Supports the FP&A Manager with in-depth analysis related to costs, labor, margins, operational expenses, and sales performance on a daily basis

· Works with FP&A Manager to create reports tailored to the needs of the FP&A Department and Store Management

· Supports with inventory entry and overall inventory management

· Supports occasionally with FP&A-related activities in the store, which include inventory counts and invoice processing

· Collaborates with senior leaders to develop resourceful and creative approaches to improving efficiencies and profit margins to improve Return on Investment (ROI) in all areas of operations

· Educates and trains team members on processes and procedures, ensuring smooth adoption and compliance

· Supports FP&A Manager in training team members on Eataly’s in-house sales database, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or Mathematics

· Demonstrated success in financial modeling

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Data-driven mindset

· Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred

· Familiarity with databases, automation or business intelligence preferred

· Passion for and interest in Italian food is a plus
