As a Product Manager, Personalization ML, you will own the core recall and ranking strategy that power product recommendations on eBay. Your algorithms will recommend relevant and inspiring inventory to our customers at every touch point. You are passionate about who the customers are and what they’re looking for. You will answer questions such as : “How do we effectively rank recommendations to drive engagement?" , "What explicit signals should the front end team collect to model user interests"? Requirements: You have partnered with the front end teams and ML research to build predictive algorithms. You have experience in personalization or recommendation engines or search or ad ranking. Experience in setting the strategy and shipping algorithms for B2C or C2C customers in one of the following fields: social media, messaging, e-commerce, content recommendations, streaming, gaming. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, shipping products with data scientists, engineers and design resulting in significant business impact. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
