Position Overview:
Position:
EDI Analyst role will be responsible for the onboarding process of the trading partners to implement EDI automation with SiteOne. The role will be gathering the requirements, providing trading partners with the integration details, defining mappings, implementing configurations in Webmethods, testing the configurations, supporting certification process, and supporting implemented EDI processes post go live. The role will work with SiteOne business teams to maintain the listing of trading partners to integrate and facilitate the testing.
Responsibilities:

Assist trading partners with the implementation, test and support of inbound and outbound data connections

Coordinate the technical efforts associated with implementing EDI trading partners

Implement configurations in Webmethods and test the configurations
- Test and support EDI integration with the back-end transactional point of sale system and the ERP
- Onboard new customers and vendors to leverage EDI for documentation transfer

Work with SiteOne business teams to maintain the listing of trading partners to integrate and facilitate the testing

Govern EDI policies and procedures for new and existing trading partner interaction

Ensure all system changes are processed according to SiteOne change control guidelines

Support integration with IBM Sterling Integrator (VAN) and webMethods business process integration

Assist in EDI regression testing as requested by other teams to complete development projects that might be impacting EDI
Skills We Are Seeking::
- 3+ years experience integrating EDI documents
- Experience with setting up EDI documents in Software AG WebMethods EDI platform or a similar platform

Ability to write scripts in T-SQL in order to review the data in the source system

Solid understanding of business processes behind EDI transactions such as Sales Order, Purchase Order, Advanced Ship Notice, Sales Invoice, Purchase Invoice and other EDI document types

Understanding of business process automation and integrating applications
- Understanding of the data flows across different systems, ability to plan test cases to check the process being automated end to end, understanding of dependencies needed to be accomplished prior to automating a certain step of the EDI process

Ability to test communication with the trading partners and troubleshoot issues to define solutions and provide next steps

Experience supporting automated and integrated solutions
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Motivated to learn and prioritize work assignments

Good verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

Configuration of EDI documents in WebMethods
- Understanding of EDI communication protocols

Transportation documents is a plus, wholesale distribution experience is a plus
