JOB SUMMARY
UConn’s Institute for Municipal and Regional Policy is seeking an Educational Program Coordinator to assist with the administration of programs.
The IMRP is a dynamic non-partisan organization affiliated with UConn’s School of Public Policy, that works for fair, effective, and just public policy through applied research and community engagement. The Program Coordinator will support one or more IMRP projects and activities. IMRP’s current largest programs/projects include the Racial Profiling Prohibition Project, Connecticut Sentencing Commission, Children with Incarcerated Parents Initiative, and the International Justice Exchange Project.
Under the direction of a Program Manager or Director, the Program Coordinator will coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of the program/s.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Coordinator will work under limited supervision of a Program Manager or Director, and the Institute’s Director. Under the direction of the Program Manager or Director, may coordinate the work assignments of part-time staff and students and supervise their performance on tasks.

This position is a full-time, 12-month, end-dated position, with the possibility of renewal dependent upon the availability of funding and the candidate’s performance. Other rights, terms, and conditions of employment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut Professional Employees Association (UCPEA).
