Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Plant Engineering team in Hillerød. Are you interested in design, commissioning and maintenance of Electrical systems? Then you might be just the candidate we are looking for!
About the Team and the Department
The Plant Engineering team consists of 19 engineers who provide technical support for all Plant Utilities and Support Equipment, such as plant steam boilers, cooling and heating systems, HVAC systems, water pre-treatment systems, USP water systems, electrical, utility and building automation.
The team develops and implements maintenance metrics and strategies to avoid unplanned downtime. Moreover, they optimize and simplify corrective and preventative maintenance concepts.
They specify User Requirements and provide engineering support to operation and we follow and monitor energy usage and constantly look for optimization opportunities.

About the position
The purpose of this role is to provide engineering technical support for electrical systems, such as HV and LV distribution systems, emergency power generators, uninterruptable power supply systems, variable speed drives and motor control centers. Develop and implement maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime of equipment. Coordinate Electrical projects within maintenance and act as electrical System Matter Expert in investment projects managed by the Project Engineering team. Responsible for management of electrical documentation and standards within maintenance.
Support planning and execution of electrical work orders. Support with trouble shooting and fault-finding on electrical systems.
Major responsibilities:
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on Electrical Systems
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment failure and perform root cause analysis to ensure a reliable electrical distribution system
  • Participate in investment projects as owner representative
  • Manage electrical documentation
  • Initiate and manage electrical projects within Technical Operation & Support
  • Support planning and execution of electrical works

Qualifications
Professional skills:
  • You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience as electrical engineer
  • Knowledge about Electrical standards
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Danish at a business level.

  • Ability to collaborate with a large range of stakeholders
  • Possess a can-do attitude and ability to navigate in a project setting
