Job Description
We’re looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern, to join our Research & Development Team onsite in Rosemont, IL. This position could lead to a full time, at-will role within Signify.

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you’ll work on an innovative, cross-functional team assisting product Design-in Engineers on various design-in projects to help our customers apply our products and meet the target product specifications.

What you'll do
  • Generate accurate engineering test reports and related documents; present information, as needed.
  • Perform hands-on work with different types of products (drivers, modules, sensors), as part of the design-in activities.
  • Create prototypes, test setup, and perform data analysis.
Your qualifications
  • Current engineering student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering (must be a student during the entire internship)
  • Knowledgeable in design/development of embedded software, PC and mobile software applications/tools for setup, configuration and/or commissioning of electronics products and systems
  • Knowledgeable of Power Electronics/LED Lighting/Lighting Control products
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communicator, highly organized, a quick learner, can handle multiple projects and work with minimal supervision
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
