Madison, AL based company is looking for an electromechanical assembly technician. Responsibilities include assembling/testing standard & prototype hardware with the critical thinking skills required to troubleshoot/diagnose problems. Must be capable of using precision measuring tools, including visual comparators and/or visual measurement equipment, as well as manual and power hand tools. Soldering and de-soldering of small components is required. Must have the dexterity to work with intricate parts and the ability to follow written assembly instructions and read schematic and mechanical prints. Must be capable of understanding calibration processes for proprietary electronic products. Work within a team-based environment and responsible for final inspection of peer-assembled products. Small batch production runs are typical - not an assembly line position. Experience with PCB assembly is a plus. Proper work ethic, strong computer skills, and written/verbal communication skills are a must. Employer-funded electronic or electromechanical certification available for the motivated candidate
