Program Manager, Payroll Card

The Manager, Payroll Card owns the overall operations for the Payroll Card program, managing vendor relationships/deliverables and contractual agreements, and developing and implementing strategy to grow the Restaurant365 Payroll Card business. The Manager will have specific, deep, and current knowledge and experience in the payroll, banking and/or card issuance space using strong relationship management, planning, and negotiation skills to drive the strategy and performance outcomes that support and exceed growth initiatives and targets. The Manager will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize our payment solutions to customers.

How you'll add value:

    • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant365 Payroll Card program
    • Develops strategies and procedures to effectively manage and grow the Payroll Card program
    • Strategizes with internal stakeholders including Product, Marketing, and risk teams to ensure optimal network revenue and to support growth initiatives
    • Be the bridge between external partners and internal stakeholders to drive the successful execution of strategic initiatives and projects
    • Liaises and educates internally on relevant strategies in the payments and payroll spaces, watches for trends, and is seen as a go-to resource for other internal partners
    • Understands the relevant market trends, regulations, and competitor activity
    • Leads Pay Card vendor management responsibilities including formal reviews, holding partners accountable for performance metrics, service level agreements, and governance to ensure all contractual obligations are met
    • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

    • 5+ years related experience working in payroll, banking, or card issuance within a service performance and/or delivery capacity
    • Experience with sponsor bank card issuance and/or card issuance middleware
    • Strong business acumen and experience working with suppliers, vendors, partners, and stakeholders along with ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
    • Proven strategic planning and project management and leadership experience with both legacy and emerging partners to assess negotiate, and manage vendor and service models
    • Ability to apply judgment around third-party risk management and control frameworks and industry best practices and make sound risk /reward decisions using a balance of data, logic, and intuition to inform critical business strategies and processes
    • Extremely organized, ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with a high degree of initiative and ability to self-start and self-prioritize assignments and make timely and effective decisions
    • Strong process facilitation, process management and improvement skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver a quality result within tight deadlines independently and effectively
    • Efficient and effective communicator, public presenter, and team player
    • Excitement to work in a high-growth environment and to help build processes and tools as needed
    • Solution-oriented mindset and an ongoing desire to “make it better”
    • Proven experience building and leading teams to success while maintaining accountability and developing others
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint)

    • Compensation: Restaurant365 focuses on equitable pay for our team and aims for transparency with our pay practices. This position has a salary range of $96K-$108K plus commission (OTE $125K). The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
