EA Create is known to partner with AAA studios such as BioWare, Respawn, and Maxis, and assist on the critically acclaimed Madden and FIFA franchises. This is your opportunity to be part of a collaborative group with team members all over the world and have your work shown to millions of viewers, players, peers, and industry professionals.You would report to a director within the Animation team and create high-quality performances in all aspects of your work. You know how to reveal attitude, emotions, and mood through a character's movement and behavior, and create memorable characters which will appeal to players. It's essential to have knowledge of the timing and appearance of human and animal movement and facial expressions. In the end, the look of a game is one of the most significant factors contributing to the success of the game.Role Requirements:• Understanding and passion for cinematics and storytelling in games.• Minimum of 5 years professional animation experience.• Keyframe and Motion Capture animation skills within Maya.• Reliable internet service to work remotely.Role Expectations:• Visualize and hand key motion on characters within Maya.• Utilize existing motion capture to develop realistic character performances• Work with the Animation Director and Leads to deliver quality animation that meets outlined expectations.• Ensure all animations contribute to the direction of the game in both the experience and the story being told.• Provide feedback to the Technical Animators regarding character rigging.• Animate weight, character personality, mood, and believability through realistic and stylized performances.• Shoot reference video using instruction and feedback from the Animation Director and Leads.• Understand feedback and deliver revisions at the expected quality within the assigned time frame.• Collaborate with multiple departments such as Design, Technical Animation, and Code to complete tasks.• Prompt attendance at all meetings and reviews.• Organize your work and notes to be easily understood by team members.• Collaborate with directors, animators, production and technical staff.US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.HOURLY PAY RANGES• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):$40 - $60 USD Hourly• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):$37 - $60 USD Hourly• Jersey City, NJ :$48 - $60 USD Hourly• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):$45 - $59 USD Hourly• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):$37 - $53 USD HourlyThe hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work 40 hours a week.
