Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Director of Digital Commerce to lead the growth and performance of e.l.f. SKIN across all digital commerce channels. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the brand and products are represented with excellence across digital shelves, optimizing online merchandising opportunities, and driving brand growth through strategic sales and investment strategies. You will also own the P&L for elfskin.com, forecast sales, and manage investment allocation across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the skincare consumer and a proven track record of driving growth within ecommerce and digital environments.

Responsibilities:
Digital Commerce Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement the digital commerce strategy to drive revenue growth for e.l.f. SKIN across all digital channels, including elfskin.com, Amazon, and retailer websites (Ulta.com, Target.com, Walmart.com).
- Ensure that e.l.f. SKIN is represented with excellence on all digital shelves by optimizing product pages, utilizing merchandising tools, and implementing best-in-class digital content.
- Identify and unlock online merchandising opportunities to enhance visibility and conversion on each retail platform.
- Own the P&L for elfskin.com, building financial models to forecast sales and manage investment allocations to meet revenue and profitability goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including CRM, sales operations, demand planning, finance, brand, and marketing to align on key initiatives, launches, and promotional strategies.
- Partner with CRM to leverage customer insights and segmentation, optimizing digital commerce strategies based on data-driven learnings.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute brand campaigns across digital platforms, driving traffic, conversion, and brand awareness.
Sales Forecasting & Investment Management
- Forecast sales and manage inventory to ensure alignment with demand, collaborating closely with demand planning and sales operations.
- Develop and manage investment strategies to maximize returns, overseeing budgets, and allocating resources across channels based on performance metrics.
- Analyze performance data and trends to make informed decisions, ensuring efficient investment in growth-driving activities.
Performance Analytics & Optimization
- Utilize data analytics to track and optimize digital commerce performance, leveraging KPIs such as conversion rate, AOV, traffic, and channel ROI.
- Continuously monitor competitive landscape and consumer trends in skincare, adjusting strategy to stay ahead in the market.
- Implement a test-and-learn approach to drive continuous improvement in online experience and sales performance.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in ecommerce/digital commerce with a focus on consumer goods or skincare preferred.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing P&L for an ecommerce or direct-to-consumer business.
- Strong understanding of digital retail platforms, merchandising, and best practices for optimized digital shelf presence.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships across departments to achieve strategic objectives.
- Deep knowledge of skincare consumer behavior and trends in the digital space.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing a high-performing team.
