Eliada Homes is looking for a Child Development Director! 


Location: Asheville, NC
Job Type: Full-Time | On-site
Experience: Program Management in Early Childhood or School Age Programs
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Child Development Program Director to lead our Child Development and School Age programs. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with North Carolina licensure and accreditation standards while delivering high-quality services that align with our agency’s mission and values.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support all Child Development and School Age program staff
     
  • Oversee program budgets and manage daily operations
     
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation, grant, and agency standards
     
  • Develop and implement staff training, evaluations, and development plans
     
  • Collaborate across departments and represent the agency at local and state level
     
  • Oversee CACFP compliance and monthly reimbursement claims
     
  • Promote program awareness within the community

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or other related field from an accredited college or university required.
  •  Completion of Early Childhood Administrative Level III Credential or equivalent.  

Experience:

  •  A minimum of five years experience in early child development or related field 
  • Two years experience in performing administrative duties, business management, and supervising staff.
