Creative Strategist

As Senior Creative Strategist you will be a part of a strong strategic team driving upstream business impact and client engagement. You will work in close partnership with the Head of Strategy, as well as brand and insight specialists within the team. You will also work closely with the Executive Creative Director to drive and shape strategic and creative delivery on core clients.

The Role in Detail 

Strategic Delivery

  • Provide a clear strategic framework for projects you work on
  • Clear, timely and inspiring delivery of Strategy phases on assigned client relationships and new business
  • Deliver quality proposals and insightful, considered presentations in response to client briefs
  • Facilitate client workshops and internal brainstorms to effectively arrive at inspiration ideas and solutions
  • Challenge and interrogate client briefs, analytically and imaginatively to ensure a clear, comprehensive, inspirational project framing internally and externally
  • Core focus on – Personal care, Health care, Beauty, Oral Care and Alcohol

 

Creative Partnership

  • Help bridge conceptual brand ideas to actionable design outputs. You will be the link between client objectives and creative execution
  • Work with the project team, supporting and pushing throughout all stages of the process to ensure we create work that exceeds expectations
  • Identify trends, inspirations and patterns from other categories to inspire the creative team
  • Help the creative team make audits more impactful by working with them to develop a clear POV

 

Client Relationship Building

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with senior clients to generate new opportunities
  • Continuously add value to client relationships through strategic insight and understanding of the wider business and marketing issues
  • Work with the CS teams to drive a more strategic mindset across responses

 

Business Development

  • Support in prioritising and filtering new opportunities
  • Undertake new business pitches/initiatives and drive conversation with clients and eventual pitch conversion
  • Help build a new business plan to further our footprint in CPG

Thought Leadership

  • Assimilate trends and learnings across clients to create thought leadership and useful POVs for clients
  • Regular update of our Consumer Brands Strategy playbooks to keep them up to date and aligned with our clients’ needs

 

Desired Skills and Expertise

  • 8 or more years' experience in a design agency environment or facilitating design output client side.
