Human Resources Assistant

The HR Assistant is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR team in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office.

Skills

Knowledge of general Human Resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Skill in using MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

Assist Employment team in employee onboarding and orientation
Coordinate administration of annual succession plan renewal
Ensure departmental compliance with labor regulations
Maintain employee files and records
Create and maintain relationships between HR departments
Coordinate promotion schedule and summary sheets
Manage monthly billing for HR corporate credit card

Education

Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university or equivalent
