Employee Experience Manager

Your gift is connecting and reconnecting people with the reasons they do what they do at work. Your experience has convinced you that it's possible to get the right result with the right equation: Great people + great managers + common purpose x self-expression = great culture. The role of the Employee Experience Manager elevates what we believe is true and good, from the first day of employment on. Using your Superpowers, you make it easy for people to do the right things.

Our amazing Employee Experience Manager has just been promoted and we have big shoes (and many hats) to fill.
If you're curious about why this role is so important to Life is Good, read on...

We spend most of our waking hours at work. You can go home feeling like you have a good job OR like you are making the world a better place because you know that what you do matters. The difference is immense. We believe that doing what you love and loving what you do creates mental health for you and everyone around you. Priceless.

We know what makes great workplaces work:
1. Values aren't words on a wall. They are discovered through what we say and do. They are embedded in every process, every meeting, and every decision.

2. Managers make a huge difference in the workplace experience and they are not all the same. What great managers share is a common belief that their job is to discover people's strengths and help them find ways to use them more often.

3. Optimism is the most direct way to live a healthy, happy life. Art unites us.

If you are feeling a sense of relief because you may have found your people, please continue.

This role is based in both our workplaces: one in Boston, MA, where we share a beautiful historic space in person, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the other in Hudson, NH, where we are building a brand new makers "Factory" to accommodate our growth.

We provide home workstations for all Boston-based employees so they can work comfortably from home, too.

We ask some important questions during this process. It's our way of handing you the mic so you can tell us your story. Please don't miss that part and take your time answering the questions. Everyone who applies will get a response. We know that's not the norm. We set a high bar.
