The ManTech Employee Experience and HR Program Management team is seeking an Employee Experience Specialist to join us in our journey and commitment to continue to make ManTech an Employer of Choice. Our success in this area rests on the criticality of the employee experience in retaining our best-in-class talent.

This role will report into our Executive Director of Employee Experience and HR Program Management and play a key role in helping to establish and execute our employee experience strategy. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, have exceptional organizational and project management skills and be able to build strong relationships. The ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality is imperative.

The preferred location is a hybrid arrangement with some time in our Corporate Headquarters in Herndon, VA, (a casual environment) and sometime teleworking.

Areas of Responsibility Include:

  • Partnering with stakeholders on developing and implementing employee experience initiatives
  • Building, implementing and leading strategic initiatives and special projects to support strategic goals
  • Serving as an internal thought leader in the effective design, development, delivery of HR initiatives
  • Create reports, analyze data, and offer improvement ideas based on analysis
  • Ownership of HR components of ManTech-wide communications, to include writing content, coordinating submissions, and editing the overall submission
  • Working closely with other functional teams and the business to enhance the employee experience
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation as needed
  • Managing projects from concept through to implementation

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience preferred. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full lifecycle of projects
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and bring to conclusion
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR or related experience
  • Project management experience

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
