What You'll Do:- Assess and Impress: Evaluate canine patients to develop tailored rehabilitation plans based on their specific needs.
- Plan Like a Pro: Collaborate with our vets to create customized rehab plans that help pets thrive.
- Tail-Wagging Success: Perform therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy, and manual therapies to improve mobility and strength.
- Monitor Progress: Track patient improvements and adjust treatment plans to ensure positive outcomes.
- Educate Pet Parents: Teach owners how to continue their pet’s recovery with at-home exercises.
- Stay Organized: Maintain accurate medical records and notes.
- Collaborate & Celebrate: Work closely with the veterinary team to ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care.
- Stay Current: Keep up with the latest rehab techniques to provide top-notch care.
- Tech-Savvy Therapy: Maintain rehab equipment and hydrotherapy pools in excellent working condition.
What You Bring to the Table:- Certification: Certified Canine Rehabilitation Nurse/Technician (e.g., CCAT, CCRVT, CCRVN) with advanced certification preferred (e.g., CCRP).
- Experience: Licensed vet tech with hands-on experience in canine rehabilitation.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of dog anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Skills: Proficient in therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy, and pain management techniques.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills with both pets and their people.
- Compassion: A heart as big as a Great Dane—compassionate care is at the core of what you do.
- Organized: Exceptional record-keeping and attention to detail.
- Lifelong Learner: Passionate about staying current on the latest in veterinary rehab.
- Equipment Experience: Familiar with high-tech rehab gear like underwater treadmills and therapeutic ultrasound.
