Job Summary:
Energy Recovery is a rapidly growing industrial technology leader with growth objectives beyond its core market of water desalination. As Digital Marketing Analyst with Energy Recovery you will support the Marketing Communication team’s strategic projects and programs. This role requires a dynamic individual who is ready to take a hands-on approach to digital marketing and who is adept at working across our team, across the organization, and across the globe to drive a wide range of digital marketing projects and draw critical marketing insights to help meet the company meet its goal. The ideal candidate would have a strong base in a digital marketing environment and would be interested in growth in this role.
The full-time position of Digital Marketing Analyst is based in San Leandro, CA or Katy, TX and is hybrid in-office and work-from-home role. The position reports to the Director of Brand Marketing and will work closely with other arms of the marketing team, including Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, and Market Intelligence.
As Energy Recovery’s Digital Marketing Analyst, you will focus on leading a broad range of digital marketing initiatives and will have a first hand in shaping the digital transformation of Energy Recovery’s marketing technology stack strategy. Responsibilities include:
Major Duties & Responsibilities: - Ownership of corporate website and management of web development agency
- Own overall website management, maintenance, organization, and branding and proactively suggest plugins, improvements, and optimizations for front and back end of our website (including non-English translations)
- Lead and project manage the development of online tools
- Lead and project manage translations of web pages as needed
- Identify and execute minor and adhoc changes as needed through WordPress
- Proactively and regularly prepare analytics reports on website performance, social media, and Google Adwords. Analyze report data and draw key insights to inform digital activities and optimizations. Work proactively with Product Marketing to identify a path forward for optimizations based on these analytics
- Implementation of digital business cards
- Social media campaign development and management and search engine marketing and optimization
- Lead, design, implementation, and project management of digital strategy including paid social media strategy and oversight
- Conduct keyword research and ensure optimal rankings. Analyze, report, and improve search rankings
- Provide and execute on recommendations related to digital trends and best practices
- Coordinate with Corporate Communications, who is responsible for organic social media
- Ownership of Google Adwords
- Work closely with the Marketing Communications Manager on in house email marketing
- Management of webinar programs
- Facilitation and back-end management of in-house webinar platform, Livestorm, including back-end management in real time during live webinars
- Facilitate organic promotion, including coordination of website content, for all webinars
- Advise and assist, as needed, organization of externally managed webinars
- Collect and distribute resulting leads, analyze results, and proactively suggest improvements and optimizations for future webinars
- Ad hoc tasks to facilitate day-to-day marketing projects
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, communications, English, marketing or other related area; or equivalent work experience required
- 3-4 years’ related work experience in a digital and analytics focused marketing environment
- Experience with WordPress required
- Strong writing, listening, and strategic communication skills required
- Meticulous attention to detail and self-starter work ethic
- Adaptable and able to quickly embrace new ideas and methods
- Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to proactively solve problems and drive projects through to completion
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adjusting as needed
- Comfortable working both in office and from home as needed
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a highly cross-functional environment, as well as across countries, cultures, and time zones
- Experience in agency management a plus
- Some graphic design and/or coding skills a plus
- Experience with AI tools a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Willingness to learn other software as needed
$74,000 - $97,000 a year
The below range is the range that we reasonably believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future. The salary range for this role is $74,000 to $97,000
