We’re a high-performing team looking for passionate, execution-focused, self-starters to help us build equity management tools for founders. Pulley is growing quickly with over 1600 customers including unicorns like Clubhouse, Birdies, Coda, and Fast - all within our first year of product launch. Our trajectory is fueled by top investors like Stripe, General Catalyst, Caffeinated Capital, 8vc, Elad Gil, among other great angels. All of our growth has been organic, and we’re growing the team to meet the demand.

🌟 Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for experienced engineering managers who are excited about building, mentoring, and leading a remote engineering team to solve challenging technical and product problems as Pulley scales.

You will have significant responsibility for the equity managed on Pulley. The quality of features shipped through your team and the pace of new feature development will make or break Pulley's future.

🛠 Responsibilities

  • Drive the roadmap and priorities for your team
  • Be deeply involved in designing and building new features for new product launches
  • Create and manage processes to help the team do its best work
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand the product roadmap, and communicate clearly to your team what we are building and why this matters.
  • Recruit great engineers to join your team
  • Develop engineers on the team and help them advance in their careers

🙌 Qualifications & Fit

  • You’ve managed teams that shipped and operated critical infrastructure
  • You work very well cross-functionally and are able to think rigorously and make hard decisions and tradeoffs
  • You thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
  • You’re technical enough to ask engineers good questions about architecture and product decisions
  • You have experience managing engineering teams
  • You can find a balance between optimizing for speed and quality

  • Prioritize ruthlessly - Our view is that being a 10x engineer is not about writing more code; it’s about making the right decision on what to build. We’re hiring for people who can make the right strategic decisions on where to spend their time
