About the role:
We are looking for a Technical Engineering Manager to help us continue to grow, mentor, and support our Engineering teams. Your primary focus will be managing squads of engineers to ensure proper execution of the roadmap.
What you'll do:
You will be expected to do bi-weekly 1:1's, complete thorough code reviews, mentor other engineers, remove roadblocks, and work in lockstep with product and design. We are big believers in quality code, code linters, testing, and code reviews.
Our engineering culture is IC-driven. We favor bottom-up ideation and empowerment of our team. We're looking for managers who will help our engineers to find creative solutions to complex challenges.
Finally, you'll work with our CTO and other engineering managers to build an organizational structure and processes that scale as we continue to grow.
This position is for Salt Lake City (Cottonwood Heights) with relocation available.
About you:
- 2+ years of engineering management or technical leadership with significant experience as a software engineer
- Familiarity with one or more of React, Node, or Ruby on Rails
