Explore more about this opportunity to support our market and facility teams to enhance our success in an evolving healthcare marketplace.Responsibilities:• Process, analyze, review, and negotiate a high volume of contract requests from the various facilities, Service Center and other affiliated business ventures.• Act as a liaison between Contracts and Compliance regarding physician compensation arrangements and billing matters.• Act as a liaison between Contracts and other department related to contracts and contracting.• Prepare amendments, addendum and contract extension documents.• Process requests for termination of contracts and prepare termination letters re same.• Engage and work with outside counsel on various contract issues and template changes.• Assist with contract and billing disputes with facility vendors and legal representatives.• Handle a high volume of requests for copies of contracts for facilities and the legal department.• Assist with real estate acquisition contract preparation which includes weekly telephone meetings, working with GPO to arrange contracts and maintaining spreadsheets.• Assist in maintaining the contract management software and database information such as vendor data entry, setting reminders, running reports and keeping facility information up to date.Qualifications• Paralegal Certificate and/or Bachelor’s Degree in related field.• A demonstrated ability to attentively and efficiently review legal agreements• Familiarity with compliance requirements of HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statutes, Stark Laws, and other regulations governing the healthcare industry• A minimum of 2 years working with contracts in a law firm or an in-house legal department in a healthcare company• Healthcare background strongly preferred.What You'll Receive In ReturnAs part of the Ensign Services family, you'll enjoy many perks including but not limited to: excellent compensation, comprehensive benefits package, PTO, 401K matching, stock options, amazing company culture and not to mention- opportunities for professional growth and advancement. This is not a remote eligible position.Additionally, enjoy access to our fully equipped onsite gym (San Juan Capistrano office location).
