Summary:
Huntington Bank is looking for a Data Quality Sr. Analyst for the Enterprise Data organization led by the Chief Data and Architecture Officer (CDAO). In this role, you will report to the Enterprise Data Quality Leader. If you consider data as a strategic asset, evangelize the value of good data and insights, and have a passion for finding innovative ways to improve the quality of enterprise data, this role is for you.
This exciting and newly created role will be a senior team member focused on developing Huntington’s next generation data quality capabilities. The position will partner closely with key stakeholders across the enterprise including the office of the CDAO, Line of Business teams, Data Stewards, and Technology SMEs to drive data quality improvements across the enterprise.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Partner with key stakeholders to design and implement data quality goals to meet their business targets, including regulatory and compliance objectives.
· Perform data discovery, profiling, and root cause analysis on high priority data assets.
· Build and implement new data quality rules to execute against high priority data assets.
· Lead performer on operationalizing the new data quality framework.
· Partner with Data Quality Leader to define and implement an enterprise data quality management framework, including components, processes, roles and responsibilities.
· Provide support to data technology project teams responsible for building out next-generation data quality capabilities.
· Develop recommendations and implement improvements to data quality controls and monitoring processes.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree, military experience in related field, or equivalent professional certification
· At least five years of experience working in analyst roles in departments such as Data, Technology, Operations, Marketing, or Finance
· At least three years of experience working with data quality management frameworks.
· At least three years of experience performing data analysis with SQL or other query tools to analyze data.
· At least three years of experience working in a data environment and/or on data projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master’s degree
· At least three years of experience developing and influencing data quality strategies, including the supporting governance structures.
· Hands on experience with data quality and data management tools and technologies
· Knowledgeable on data architecture, data warehousing, and big data design
· Well-developed negotiation, influencing, and partnership skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Business outcome focused.
· Demonstrated perseverance.
· Knowledgeable and experienced with data management processes, systems, and technologies.
· Experience with any of the following: Rochade, Collibra, Informatica, Alation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $107,500.00 per year
