Enterprise Sales Development Representative

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Ooma by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to generate and nurture leads, engaging potential customers, and setting up appointments for our Strategic Account Executives. This is a tremendous opportunity to get a solid sales foundation at a growing company while making a big impact along the way.

What You'll Do:

  • Utilize various research methods and tools to identify and research potential customers within target markets. Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach, to generate new leads.

  • Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and evaluate their fit for our products or services. Conduct thorough qualification processes to identify high-potential leads and prioritize them for further follow-up.

  • Collaborate with the Account Executive team to schedule appointments with qualified prospects. Ensure that all relevant information is communicated effectively to the sales executives to maximize their success during meetings.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and interactions in the CRM system.

  • Gather and analyze information to identify potential market opportunities and provide insights to the sales and marketing teams.

  • Collaborate with sales executives to refine sales strategies and share feedback on prospect needs and objections.

Experience We're Looking For:

  • 1+ years in sales in a quota carrying position.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or lead generation roles.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships.

  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving results.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

  • Familiarity with CRM software(Salesforce) and sales tools.

  • Knowledge of the industry and market dynamics relevant to the company's products or services. #LI-OP1
