Enterprise Technology and Operations Initiatives Manager
Assists the EVP, Chief Operating Officer with operational tasks that need to be accomplished. This position will be an extension of the EVP role as a "Chief of Staff" and will involve working with leaders and/or teams to ensure work is identified, prioritized, and completed. Feedback is synthesized, strategies and solutions are crafted and executed effectively, communications are clear, issues are addressed immediately, and initiative or projects that span the Technology & Operations Division or various Business Units are completed on time and within budget.
This position will serve as an extension of the Chief Operating Officer, and the right candidate will:

  • Be results driven and work independently to complete assignments with a strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Identify and manage through complex problems; gain consensus, develop, evaluate, and implement solutions.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbal and written, on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer, as appropriate for the needs of the audience; this includes being strong at storytelling and synthesizing information into impactful PowerPoint Presentations.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities
Representative for Technology & Operations on Projects and Initiatives
  • Provide a single point of contact that can quickly and effectively pull in the appropriate front line or leadership resources to meet desired objectives.
  • Key contact for those within and outside of Tech & Ops trying to find resolution to various issues and work with them to navigate Tech & Ops organizational structure.
  • Synthesize inputs from the team to help shape and craft strategies as well as assist in execution of associated actions.
  • Identify solutions, provide guidance and support on initiatives that span Tech & Ops the Division or across divisions.
  • Partner directly with Chief Operating Officer to actively speak on behalf of the EVP and contribute to the way Tech & Ops operates and executes.
  • Active coordination with Executive Leadership and colleagues for awareness, advocacy and/or adoption.
  • Direct and ensure execution of Tech & Ops activities and projects to achieve maximum organizational efficiency. Work with executives and department heads to establish goals, policies and procedures and offer assistance as needed.
  • Evaluate progress and accomplishments through the review of routine and special reports.
Support for the EVP, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Leadership Team Members
  • Provide overall support for the EVP and Tech & Ops leadership for general requests including but not limited to: Team Meeting agendas and materials, Communications, Presentations, Town Halls, Tech & Ops SharePoint page, Goals and Objectives, etc.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations from scratch including synthesizing information, utilizing storytelling, and developing information specifically for the needs of the audience.
  • Provide analytical support on topics impacting Tech & Ops divisional topics.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and Finance to maximize workforce efficiency including monitoring open headcount, contingent labor, and reallocation of resources as applicable. Review weekly open position reports.
  • Field requests and issues and identify those that that need to be handled by the EVP and which ones can be made by others in the organization to relieve the EVP of non-critical decision-making responsibilities.
  • Provide an additional effective line of communication for colleagues to provide ideas and suggestions. Explore viability of various ideas.
Coordinate with key stakeholders to design, implement, monitor, and reinforce best in class, seamless, distinguished customer, and colleague experiences within Tech & Ops.
  • Ongoing monitoring to ensure we are not only delivering this experience effectively but that that targeted experience may evolve based on customer demand, industry trends, corporate goals, or other macro-economic factors.
  • Provide overall support for the Voice of the Colleague initiatives both Enterprise themes that are led by Tech & Ops as well as themes and progress within Tech & Ops.
  • Ensure branding and messaging of Tech & Ops is clear, effective, and consistent.


Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 4 years of relevant experience
  • 8 years of professional experience in financial services
  • 5 years of professional experience creating and executing strategic initiatives
  • 5 years of professional experience in business and management principles
  • 5 years of professional experience leading initiatives with multiple groups, executives, and stakeholders
