TSMC Arizona is looking for entry-level Equipment Technicians to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona (with Relo benefit option!) As an Equipment Technician, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.

Job Description

• Performing maintenance on state-of-the-art semiconductor factory process tools to ensure high-performance operation and the quality and integrity of our products
• 6+ months of experience in semi, manufacturing, technician, maintenance, mechanic or related field
• Scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, visual inspections, cataloguing and standardizing processes
• Monitoring tool operating status - responding to alarms, ensuring wafer security
• Improving machine integrity and standardizing processes
• Cataloguing data, data analysis, and reporting statuses and updates
• 6S, continuous improvement processes, skills development

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED and experience with machine maintenance; Associate's Degree in Science or Engineering related field; Technical training in the military service
• Computer and software familiarity to be used for computing and analysis of production info
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and the associated documentation
• Able to work in a manufacturing cleanroom environment: gowning up in PPE gear, 12-hour shifts, standing/moving for long periods of time, lifting heavy objects
• Respect of Proprietary Information Policies
• Compressed Work Week Schedule
