The roles:
We have entry level opportunities in both our media and account management teams.

Media – The opportunities in media would see you learn from the best and become a key support within the team. There is a clear development pathway and that starts with supporting the team to deliver best in class implementation, through to being responsible for your own portfolio of clients. You will help with insights, recommendations, market analysis while mastering the techniques of media investment. You will also collaborate with a wide variety of teams across the agency which is a unique advantage of this role, that gives you exposure to both media and other disciplines within the agency.

Account Management – The opportunity in account management would be your launchpad to a career in Client Servicing roles. You’ll develop a great understanding of the big picture working alongside creative, production, digital projects and data within FCB Six. It’s a dynamic role, so you’ll need to be willing to pitch in and support the team however you can, using your initiative to proactively traffic the workflow. You’ll be booking and attending client meetings and briefings, tracking progress, proofing, troubleshooting, monitoring finances, and most importantly – ensuring that we meet the client brief.

What you’ll need to bring to the team:

  • You are ready to take your first step into the exciting world of advertising and media, or you may have some entry level experience
  • You are passionate, hungry and keen to make your mark
  • You have a curiosity and interest in the NZ advertising and media landscape and a willingness to keep up-to-date on the advertising industry and new trends/innovations
  • You possess a strong focus and attention to detail, analytical and numerical reasoning skills (media) a love of creativity, and an ability to show initiative and proactivity
  • You have an understanding of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • You are a relationship builder with a natural knack for growing strong relationships both internally (team and wider agency) and externally (Clients & suppliers)
  • You have a positive, friendly, can do attitude – able to cope well with pressure, equally able to have a laugh and contribute to the culture of the team and the wider agency
